Finished from the factory in striking War Bonnet Yellow (Code 989) over a Saddle leather interior (Trim 420), this 1971 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe is a beautifully restored C3 that combines iconic styling with upgraded performance. According to the trim tag, the car was built during the first week of June 1971 (K07) and retains its highly desirable factory color combination.

Power comes from a replacement Chevrolet 454 cubic-inch V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission and Positraction limited-slip differential, delivering the effortless big-block torque enthusiasts expect. The engine is identified by its CE replacement block stamping and features a 1970 casting date, making it a period-correct Chevrolet service replacement.

The exterior was professionally refinished in 2007, while the interior received an extensive restoration including new Saddle leather seat upholstery, door panels, carpeting, and trim. Additional upgrades included sound insulation, a solid-state radio conversion with updated speakers, and an R134a air conditioning conversion for improved drivability.

Mechanical refurbishment focused on making this Corvette enjoyable on the road. Suspension and braking improvements include a composite mono-leaf rear spring, trailing arms, strut rods, shocks, brake booster, rear calipers and rotors, as well as a rebuilt power steering system. The starter, alternator, and water pump were previously replaced, while the fuel tank, sending unit, fuel pump, and spark plugs were renewed in preparation for sale.
